Detailed explanation-1: -Up until June 30, 2022, the current MSME registration (UdyogAadhaar Number (UAN) or E.M.) would remain in effect.

Detailed explanation-3: -At the moment there is no need to renew Udyam Registration but as Udyog Aadhar stands expired w.e.f. 30 June 2022, any entity having Udyog Aadhar must migrate to Udyam Registration. Currently there is no expiry for Udyam Registration and the same needs to be obtained only once against every PAN.

Detailed explanation-4: -Extension of UAM Registration The government has again extended the UAM registration validity till 30 June 2022 through a notification. However, micro and small enterprises should obtain Udyam registration as per the MSME Development Act, 2006 if they want to avail benefits of government schemes offered to MSMEs.

Detailed explanation-5: -The Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises notified that all the MSMEs will no longer be valid after the 31st of March 2022, which means that the companies that are already registered for a Udyog Aadhar can no longer avail of the benefits without registration for Udyam Aadhar.
