Detailed explanation-1: -The pilgrimage will be free of cost for aged people and they will also be allowed to bring a member of their family along. Delhi government’s free pilgrimage scheme: The first train carrying senior citizens from Delhi to Ayodhya under Delhi Government’s free pilgrimage scheme will depart on December 3, 2021.

Detailed explanation-2: -Under the scheme, people aged 60 years and above are sent on pilgrimage to 15 routes on trips fully sponsored by the Delhi government. The government pays for travel, accommodation and other expenses of each pilgrim who can also take along an attendant with them.

Detailed explanation-3: -Rs. 2500 per month will be given to people over 70. As part of the Delhi Old Age Assistance Scheme, the government would use the Reserve Bank of India’s ECS system to deposit the recipients’ pension payments directly into their bank accounts.

Detailed explanation-4: -Under the scheme, the government provides free travel to the elderly to about 15 pilgrimages including Dwarka, Ayodhya, Haridwar-Rishikesh, Mathura-Vrindavan, Shirdi, Rameshwaram, Puri, and many more.

Detailed explanation-5: -Delhi Sarkar Tirth Yatra Online Registration: Delhi govt. is inviting Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana online registration form 2022 at edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in. Under this Delhi Free Tirth Yatra Yojana, the state govt. will provide free pilgrimage visits to 77, 000 senior citizens in the state.
