Detailed explanation-1: -India is scheduled to host the first International Buddhist Conference 2021 India on November 19 and 20 st, at the Nava Nalanda maha vihara campus, located in Nalanda, Bihar. The academic conference, organised by the Indian Council for cultural relations (Iccr), will be annual.

Detailed explanation-2: -From 19th to 20th November 2021, India will organise the first-ever Global Buddhist Conference that will become an annual feature. It will be held in Nalanda, Bihar in the campus of the Nava Nalanda Mahavihara. The event is being planned by Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).

Detailed explanation-3: -A council of 500 Arahants was held at Rajgir (Sanskrit: Rājagṛha) three months following the Buddha’s death to agree on the contents of the Dhamma and Vinaya.

Detailed explanation-4: -First Buddhist Council- 400 B.C It was held just after the death of the Buddha. Abhidhamma Pitaka was also recited in this council.

Detailed explanation-5: -The first Buddhist council is traditionally said to have been held just after Buddha’s Parinirvana, and presided over by Mahākāśyapa, one of His most senior disciples, at a cave near Rājagṛha (today’s Rajgir) with the support of king Ajatashatru.
