Detailed explanation-1: -Ujjwala 2.0: Additional allocation of 1.6 Crore LPG Connections under PMUY Scheme with special facility to migrant households. The scheme was launched in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri. Narendra Modi.

Detailed explanation-3: -New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch Ujjwala 2.0 that provides free cooking gas connections to poor families by handling over domestic LPG cylinder connections at Mahoba in Uttar Pradesh on 10 August. This comes in the run-up to the UP state assembly elections.

Detailed explanation-4: -Ujjwala 2.0 aims to provide deposit-free LPG connections to low-income families who could not be covered under the first phase of PMUY. Along with deposit-free access to LPG supplies, the beneficiaries will also be provided with a stove (hotplate) free of cost.

Detailed explanation-5: -Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on May 1st, 2016 in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. Under this scheme, 5 Cr LPG connections will be provided to BPL families with a support of Rs. 1600 per connection in the next 3 years.
