Detailed explanation-1: -The Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED) has entered into a partnership with IIT Delhi under the HRD Ministry’s flagship ‘Unnat Bharat Abhiyan’ (UBA) to boost livelihood opportunities and income generation for tribal communities.

Detailed explanation-2: -TRIFED and DAY-NRLM, have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today to cement this collaborative and co-operative effort. The MoU was signed by Shri Pravir Krishna, Managing Director, TRIFED and Shri Nagendra Nath Sinha, Secretary of Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD).

Detailed explanation-3: -TRIFED has now entered into a collaborative project titled “Sustainable Livelihoods For Tribal Households in India” with The LINK Fund, a philanthropic operational foundation which is mandated to eradicate extreme poverty and mitigate the effects of climate change.

Detailed explanation-4: -The Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED) was established in 1987, under the Multi-State Cooperative Societies Act, 1984.
