Detailed explanation-2: -Mera Ration has been launched by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food And Public Distribution and the App is a part of the Government’s One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) system.

Detailed explanation-3: -Mera Ration App 2022 Mera ration app is launched by the Indian govt on Friday, 12th of March 2021. To furnish services of “One Nation One Ration Card”, NIC (Nation Informatics Center) has designed and developed a mobile application named “Mera Ration App”.

Detailed explanation-4: -It involves two types, RPDS and TPDS. In 1992, PDS became RPDS (Revamped PDS) focusing the poor families, especially in the far-flung, hilly, remote and inaccessible areas. In 1997 RPDS became TPDS (Targeted PDS) which established Fair Price Shops for the distribution of food grains at subsidised rates.
