Detailed explanation-1: -India is the 10th biggest riser in terms of overall generosity. 34% of adults in India have volunteered for a social cause, ranking 6th globally. With an aggregate of 44%, India ranks 14th overall in the World Giving Index 2021.

Detailed explanation-2: -The World Giving Index 2021 report has presented the following key findings for India’s rank in the World Giving Index: From its 10-year global rank of 82, India has jumped up to the 14th spot amongst the 114 countries that were a part of the 2021 survey.

Detailed explanation-3: -The most generous country across the world is Indonesia. Indonesia has been ranked at first position in the CAF Index this year. Indonesia is followed by Kenya, Nigeria, Myanmar, Australia, Ghana, New Zealand, Uganda, Kosovo and Thailand in that order.
