Detailed explanation-1: -With an outlay of ₹64, 180 crore, PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, announced in the Budget 2021-22, is the largest pan-India Health Infrastructure Scheme that aims to provide a much-needed fillip to India’s capacity to address emergent Public Health issues.

Detailed explanation-2: -It is a centrally sponsored scheme with some central sector components with an outlay of Rs 64, 180 crore.

Detailed explanation-3: -64, 180 crore (US$ 8.80 billion) outlay for the healthcare sector over six years to strengthen the existing ‘National Health Mission’ by building capacities of primary, secondary and tertiary care, healthcare systems and institutions for early detection and cure of new & emerging diseases.

Detailed explanation-4: -Pradhan Mantri Atmanirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojana scheme (now renamed as Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, PM-ABHIM) with an outlay of about Rs. 64, 180 Cr over till FY 2025-26 was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister on 25th October, 2021.

Detailed explanation-5: -The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) aims to develop the backbone necessary to support the integrated digital health infrastructure of the country. It will bridge the existing gap amongst different stakeholders of Healthcare ecosystem through digital highways.
