Detailed explanation-1: -WhatsApp has announced the Digital Payments Utsav for 500 villages in India.

Detailed explanation-2: -As part of this initiative, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) is celebrating ‘Digital Payments Utsav’ from 5th December, 21 to 5th March, 2022, for promotion of Digital Payments in the country.

Detailed explanation-3: -UPI: Revolutionizing Digital Payments Launched in 2016, it has emerged as one of the most popular tools in the country for carrying out digital transactions. UPI is an instant payment system developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
