Detailed explanation-3: -Gardasil Vaccine is used in females for the prevention of cervical, vulvar and vaginal cancers caused by Human Papillomavirus (HPV). It also prevents pre-cancerous or dysplastic lesions, genital warts and infections caused by HPV in both males and females.

Detailed explanation-4: -Researchers Ian Frazer and Jian Zhou at the University of Queensland have been accorded priority under U.S. patent law for the invention of the HPV vaccine’s basis, the VLPs. In 2006, the FDA approved the first preventive HPV vaccine, marketed by Merck & Co. under the trade name Gardasil.
