Detailed explanation-1: -Bank of Baroda has launched a Video Based life Certificate updation service for Central & State Govt Pensioners. The Facility will allow pensioners to submit their life certificate through video call at the ease of home.

Detailed explanation-2: -The State Bank of India (SBI), the leading bank in India, began offering video life certificates to pensioners. The process will be free and paperless for pensioners who use this instrument to submit their life certificates virtually through video from their homes.

Detailed explanation-3: -2015, issued by the Reserve Bank of India, prescribing mandatory issue of acknowledgement to Pensioners on submission of Life Certificates and promoting the use of Digital Life Certificates among Pensioners, which would eliminate the need for their physical presence at branches. RBI/2017-18/89, dated 09.11.

Detailed explanation-4: -In order to facilitate these pensioners, the State Bank of India (SBI) has started Video Life Certificate (VLC) service. This allows pensioners to submit their life certificates from the comfort of their homes.
