Detailed explanation-1: -For the first time, an Egyptian Military contingent will take part in the Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path . The Egyptian troops would be part of the 74th Republic Day celebrations as the President of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will be on a state visit to India and will also be the Chief Guest on Republic Day.

Detailed explanation-2: -In today’s (January 26) Republic Day parade, among the various marching contingents from the Indian armed forces and paramilitary regiments, there was also one foreign contingent, from Egypt. Representing the main branches of the Egyptian armed forces, 144 soldiers participated in India’s 74th Republic Day parade.

Detailed explanation-3: -The Indian High Commission in Bangladesh stated in a release that a contingent of 122 proud soldiers of the Bangladesh Armed Forces, departed for India in a specially sent IAF C-17 aircraft. The contingent will participate in India’s Republic Day Parade in New Delhi on 26 January 2021.
