Detailed explanation-1: -Odisha government has launched Rakshak, a road safety initiative.

Detailed explanation-2: -The state government of Odisha has launched a first of its kind road safety initiative named Rakshak, to train first responders of road accidents.

Detailed explanation-3: -Under the program, 300 master trainers will train 30, 000 local people, staying or working at the eateries and different business establishments located near accident-prone spots. These 30, 000 volunteers will be trained as First Responders to road accidents.

Detailed explanation-4: -To improve safety and reduce road crash casualties, the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRT&H) has entrusted the Indian Road Safety Campaign (a non-profit organization) to lead road safety activities aimed at upping grassroot level citizen involvement in road safety measures across the nation.
