Detailed explanation-1: -Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare launched Intensified Mission Indradhanush 3.0 today.

Detailed explanation-2: -India’s Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr Mansukh Mandaviya launched Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 4.0 on 7 February 2022 to enhance the coverage of the Universal Immunization Programme (UIP).

Detailed explanation-3: -Mission Indradhanush (MI) was launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) on 25th December 2014 with the aim of expanding immunization coverage to all children across India.

Detailed explanation-4: -This is aimed to accelerate the full immunization of children and pregnant women through a mission mode intervention.

Detailed explanation-5: -What is Intensified Mission Indradhanush 2.0? It was a nationwide immunisation drive to mark the 25 years of Pulse polio programme (2019-20). It had targets of full immunization coverage in 272 districts spread over 27 States. It aimed to achieve at least 90% pan-India immunisation coverage by 2022.
