Detailed explanation-1: -In a major find, ASI has unraveled remarkable archaeological remains in Madhya Pradesh’s Bandhavgarh Forest Reserve.

Detailed explanation-2: -The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), after a gap of nearly 85 years, has resumed exploration and documentation work of ancient caves, temples, remains of Buddhist structures, and statues of Vishnu Dashavataras in the Bandhavgarh reserve forest area of Madhya Pradesh.

Detailed explanation-3: -These Ancient Caves are located in the Tala tourism zone of Bandhavgarh national park. It is impossible to miss seeing the Bandhavgarh fort and the caves in the area around the park. The most prominent and the one which can be seen from inside is the Badi Gufa (Big Cave).

Detailed explanation-4: -Cave shelters and water structures within the Bandhavgarh National Park, Madhya Pradesh, were described by ASI in 1938; they were rediscovered in March 2021, by Nayanjot Lahiri, Ashoka University. There are 81 rock-cut shelters dating back to the 2nd century CE here.
