Detailed explanation-1: -Global Liveability Index is an annual report on the World’s most liveable cities published by the Economic Intelligence Unit, the Research and Analysis division of ‘The Economist group’. 173 cities across the world are ranked based on their liveability factor.

Detailed explanation-2: -The Global Liveability Index 2022 was announced by the European Intelligence Unit (EIU) on June 24, 2022. It assessed 173 cities based on their living conditions and, in general, citizen living standards.

Detailed explanation-3: -The Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs launched the online survey on November 9 and it will end on December 23. Based on the survey results, cities will be ranked in the Ease of Living Index-2022.

Detailed explanation-4: -Austria’s capital, Vienna, was ranked the most liveable city in 2022 among the 172 cities surveyed by The Economist Intelligence Unit, having previously won in 2018 and 2019. Auckland was ranked the most liveable city in 2021.
