Detailed explanation-1: -The Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar will visit India’s first lithium cell manufacturing facility at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, tomorrow. This state-of-the-art facility has been set up by the Chennai based Munoth Industries Limited with an outlay of Rs. 165 crores.

Detailed explanation-2: -Gujarat government has announced to set up India’s first Lithium refinery which will process Lithium ore to produce battery-grade material. Manikaran Power Limited, one of the country’s largest power trading and renewable energy company will be investing over Rs 1,000 crore to set up this refinery.
