Detailed explanation-1: -’Nirdeshak, the second of the four Survey Vessels (Large) (SVL) Project being built by GRSE in collaboration with L&T shipbuilding for Indian Navy was launched on 26 May 22 at Kattupalli, Chennai.

Detailed explanation-2: -Nirdeshak is the second ship in the four survey vessel project under construction by Kolkata-based Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) in association with L&T Shipbuilding. The first class ship ‘Sandhyak’ was launched on 5 December 2021 at Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE), Kolkata.

Detailed explanation-3: -Aim is to make India an indigenous ship building hub: RM. Indian Naval Ship (INS) Mormugao (D67), second warship of the P15B class of stealth guided-missile destroyers, was commissioned in the august presence of Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh at Naval Dockyard, Mumbai on December 18, 2022.
