Detailed explanation-1: -Jakson Green has inked a pact to invest Rs 22,400 crore to set up a green hydrogen and green ammonia project, in phases, in Rajasthan. The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the government of Rajasthan to this effect, Jakson Green said in a statement.

Detailed explanation-3: -Some of the hydrogen policy’s targets are: Oil refineries must replace 30 per cent of fuel usage with green hydrogen by 2035, beginning from 3 per cent in 2025. Fertiliser production should include 70 per cent green hydrogen by 2035, starting from 15 per cent in 2025.

Detailed explanation-4: -The mission has laid out a target to develop green hydrogen production capacity of at least 5 MMT (Million Metric Tonne) per annum. This is alongside adding renewable energy capacity of about 125 GW (gigawatt) in the country.
