Detailed explanation-1: -Meanwhile, the Indian Army’s Punjab Regiment has been adjudged the best marching contingent among the three services, the government said on Monday.

Detailed explanation-2: -The Punjab Regiment has been adjudged as the ‘best’ marching contingent among the three services at the Republic day Parade while the Central Armed Police Force (CRPF) was named as best among CAPF and other auxiliary forces.

Detailed explanation-3: -Punjab Regiment Centre contingent was declared the best marching contingent among the three services at this year’s Republic Day Parade (RDP), while Indian Air Force (IAF) won the first slot in the online public poll conducted by MyGov.

Detailed explanation-4: -Twelve contingents of various para-military forces of India and other civil forces also take part in this parade. One of the unique sights of the parade is the camel mounted Border Security Force contingent, which is the only camel mounted military force in the world.

Detailed explanation-5: -There will be 16 marching contingents from the armed forces, central paramilitary forces, Delhi Police, NCC, and NSS, along with 19 military pipes and drums bands and 27 tableaux of various states, departments and armed forces will also be participating.
