Detailed explanation-1: -New Delhi: The last date for submission of applications for National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) for the year 2022-23 has been extended to 30 November, 2022, the Ministry of Education said in a statement.

Detailed explanation-2: -Last date to submit applications (fresh/renewal) for National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) is 31st October, 2022 on National Scholarship Portal (NSP) The last date for submission of applications for NMMSS for the year 2022-23 is 31st October, 2022.

Detailed explanation-3: -Under the National Scholarship Scheme, up to ₹ 60,000 will be given by the government to the students and girls to study. All the students and girls studying in class VIII can participate in NMMS Scholarship.

Detailed explanation-4: -NMMS Scholarship 2022 – Award NMMS disburses a total of 100,000 scholarships every year at the rate of INR 12,000 per annum, i.e. INR 1,000 per month to the selected students. Under National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship, the scholarship amount is paid by the State bank of India (SBI) in one go.
