Detailed explanation-1: -Now Government of India (GOI) has approved the continuation of the Central Sector Scheme – Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana (Scheme for Agro-Marine Processing and Development of Agro-Processing Clusters) with an allocation of Rs. 4600 crore till 31.03. 2026 coterminous with the 15th Finance Commission cycle.

Detailed explanation-2: -The Ministry has been implementing the Scheme, ‘Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY)’, a comprehensive package for creation of modern infrastructure with efficient supply chain management from farm gate to retail outlet.

Detailed explanation-3: -The Government of India has extended the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY)’ to improve farm productivity by four years till 2025-26 to complete ongoing projects.

Detailed explanation-5: -The Central Sector Scheme - SAMPADA (Scheme for Agro-Marine Processing and Development of Agro-Processing Clusters) was approved by the cabinet in May 2017 for the period of 2016-20 coterminous with the 14th Finance Commission cycle. The scheme has now been renamed as the “Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY)".
