Detailed explanation-1: -Thank you for celebrating World Maritime Day 2022 with us. Our theme for the year has been “New technologies for greener shipping".

Detailed explanation-2: -This year’s theme is ‘Sustainable Shipping beyond Covid-19’. The first anniversary of the day was held in 1964 to raise awareness about international trade and economy. An award ceremony is held to honour those who made important contributions to the Indian maritime industry.

Detailed explanation-3: -National Maritime Day is celebrated on 05th April to commemorate the maiden voyage of the first Indian commercial vessel SS Loyalty that set sail from Bombay (Mumbai) to London, on 05th April 1919.
