Detailed explanation-1: -The tableaux are ‘Suite of Indigenously Developed Sensors, Weapons and Electronic Warfare Systems for LCA Tejas ’ and ‘Air Independent Propulsion System (AIP)’ developed for the submarines of Indian Navy.

Detailed explanation-2: -A total of 23 tableaux - 17 from States and Union Territories and six from various Ministries and departments depicting India’s vibrant cultural heritage, and economic and social progress were a part of the parade on the Kartavya Path.

Detailed explanation-3: -West Bengal, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Jammu & Kashmir will be among the 17 states and union territories to display their tableaux at Kartavya Path for the Republic Day parade, the Ministry of Defence said Sunday.

Detailed explanation-4: -Every year, around September, the Defence Ministry, which is responsible for the Republic Day parade and the celebrations, initiates the process to decide the tableaux by asking all the states, the Union Territories, Central Government departments, and a few constitutional authorities to send their tableau proposals.

Detailed explanation-5: -An expert committee directed by the Defence Ministry is in charge of the tableaux selection process. The tableaux proposals received from various states and departments are evaluated by the panel comprising of people from various disciplines such as art, culture, painting, sculpture, music, architecture etc.
