Detailed explanation-4: -The Atal Tunnel, the world’s longest highway tunnel above 10,000 ft., opened in 2020 and lies on the Leh-Manali Highway. In February 2022, the BRO received an award from the World Book Of Records for building the tunnel. The BRO also previously built the highest motorable road, Umling La, in eastern Ladakh at 19,300ft.
