Detailed explanation-1: -INS Vikrant (pronounced [vikrɑːnt̪]) is an aircraft carrier constructed by the Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) at Kerala for the Indian Navy. It is the first aircraft carrier to be built in India. It is named Vikrant as a tribute to India’s first aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant (1961).

Detailed explanation-2: -HF-24: HAL-made HF-24 Marut was India’s first developed and homemade fighter jet. HF-24 Marut was also the first Asian jet fighter to go past the test phase and was on active duty for almost 25 years. Hindustan Fighter 24, is a twin-engine, low wing, transonic fighter-bomber designed by Kurt Tank for HAL.

Detailed explanation-3: -Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi commissioned the first indigenous aircraft carrier as INS Vikrant today. During the event, the Prime Minister also unveiled the new Naval Ensign (Nishaan), doing away with the colonial past and befitting the rich Indian maritime heritage.
