Detailed explanation-1: -In a bid to promote tiger conservation in the state, the Uttar Pradesh cabinet on Tuesday gave a green signal for the development of the first tiger reserve in the Bundelkhand region.

Detailed explanation-2: -The Uttar Pradesh government approved the development of the first tiger reserve in the Bundelkhand region of the state on September 28. The UP government also approved the notification of Ranipur Wildlife Sanctuary under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.

Detailed explanation-3: -Ranipur Tiger Reserve located in Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh is located at a just 150 km distance from Panna Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh. Tiger, leopard, bear, sambar, spotted deer, chinkara and many birds and reptiles are found in this reserve.
