Detailed explanation-1: -From 2015 onwards Kerala has implemented a 55% reservation for all posts of its local self governing bodies. On 21 July 2021, Karnataka became the first state in the country to provide one percent reservation for the transgender community in all government services.

Detailed explanation-2: -After the Constitution was promulgated, MHA, in its Resolution of 13-9-50, provided 5 per cent reservation of STs apart from the percentage fixed for SCs already in force. The 1951 Census showed that the percentage of SCS in the total population was 15.05 per cent and that of ST 6.31 per cent.
