Detailed explanation-2: -ACADEMICS. NRTI has now become Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, a Central University under the Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India.

Detailed explanation-3: -Gati Shakti University was granted the central status by the Union Cabinet in July 2022. In August this year, the Central Government introduced a bill in the Lok Sabha to convert the National Rail and Transportation Institute, into Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, an autonomous central university.
