Detailed explanation-1: -Kerala CM Launches Eggs And Milk Scheme For Anganwadi Children. Under this scheme, which is considered as a first in the country, each child will be given 125 ml of milk two days a week for 44 weeks (10 months) and an egg twice a week.

Detailed explanation-2: -The first ICDS project in Kerala was set up in 1975 at Vengara block in Malappuram district under the first batch of projects launched in the country. At present, more than 15,000 anganwadi centres are functioning in 120 ICDS blocks in the State, which has a total of 152 blocks.
