Detailed explanation-1: -The Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS) had started the “Swachh Survekshan Grameen (SSG)” in 2018, as an annual exercise through an independent survey agency to assess status of implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission Grameen [SBM(G)] on sanitation (swachhata) parameters for rural India.
