Detailed explanation-1: -Context: India, Indonesia held 37th edition of coordinated patrol (CORPAT).

Detailed explanation-2: -The 37th edition of India-Indonesia Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) is being held in the Indian Ocean region from 23-24 November 2021. CORPAT is held twice in a year to ensure safety and security.

Detailed explanation-3: -India-Indonesian CORPAT India also conducts other military exercises with Indonesia, such as the Samudra Shakti, a bilateral maritime exercise, and Garuda Shakti, a joint military exercise.

Detailed explanation-4: -The 39th edition of India-Indonesia Coordinated Patrol (IND-INDO CORPAT) between the Indian Navy and the Indonesian Navy is being conducted from 08 – 19 December 2022. Indian Naval Ship (INS) Karmuk, an indigenously built Missile Corvette participated in the pre-deployment briefing at Belawan, Indonesia.
