Detailed explanation-1: -Scientists have also revealed that they’ve recently discovered the second-deepest blue hole in the world in Chetumal Bay, off the Yucatan Peninsula coast in Mexico.

Detailed explanation-2: -The Belize Blue Hole is the largest sea hole in the world. Sea holes refer to caves that were submerged when rising waters covered them. Most sea holes, just like the Belize Blue Hole, were submerged at the end of the last great Ice Age some 10, 000 years ago.

Detailed explanation-3: -In comparision, the deepest known blue hole of the world, which was discovered in 2016 in the South China Sea and is known as the Dragon Hole, is beleived to be more than 980 feet deep. The Mexico blue hole has been named Taam Ja’, which means “deep water” in Mayan.
