Detailed explanation-1: -It is launched to encourage the use of electric vehicles. The state of Andhra Pradesh will install 400 electric vehicle charging stations throughout the state in Nov 2020. Coordinating with BEE’s “Go Electric” campaign, this is to be accomplished.

Detailed explanation-2: -To meet the increase in demand for electricity, the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation (KPTCL) will set up a 400 kv sub-station in Mangaluru at a cost of Rs 300 crore.

Detailed explanation-3: -The “GO Electric” campaign was launched by the Ministry of Power (MoP) and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on 19th February 2021 to spread awareness on the benefits of e-mobility, charging infrastructure and electric cooking.
