Detailed explanation-1: -Notes: Recently, the Union Cabinet approved the construction of the Shinku La Tunnel. The proposed tunnel will provide all-weather connectivity in Ladakh. Detailed explanation-2: -The Union Cabinet has approved the construction of Shinku La Tunnel to provide all-weather connectivity in Ladakh. Briefing reporters in New Delhi on Wednesday, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur said, the construction work of this 4.1 kilometer tunnel will be completed by December 2025.
