Detailed explanation-1: -Tamil Nadu Government has raised the monthly pension amount of differently-abled persons from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 1500 from January next year. Announcing this, on the occasion of International differently abled day in Chennai today, December 3, Chief Minister M.K.
Detailed explanation-2: -Benefits. A pension of Rs.300/-per month is provided to Divyangjan between 18 years and 79 years. For persons who are 80 years and above the pension of Rs.500/-per month will be provided.
Detailed explanation-3: -Maintenance allowance is given at the rate of Rs. 1, 500/-per month to the severely affected persons who cannot be rehabilitated by any other assistance.
