Detailed explanation-1: -Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India is observing the Road Safety Week from 11th to 17th January 2023, under “Swachhata Pakhwada", to propagate the cause of safer roads for all.

Detailed explanation-2: -Every year, the National Road Safety Week is celebrated from January 11 to 17. Organised by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the week intends to spread awareness around road safety, which is a major concern for authorities as well as the government.

Detailed explanation-3: -The first week of every year: Road safety week is celebrated every January. The Road Safety Week is a public occasion that is observed from the eleventh to the seventeenth of January to create general awareness towards the importance of traffic rules and diminish the incidents of traffic mishaps.

Detailed explanation-4: -While the theme of last year’s road safety week was ‘Sadak Suraksha-Jeevan Raksha’ and focussed on how safety on roads equates to life longevity, the theme of National Road Safety Week 2023 is ‘Parvah krenge surakshit rahenge’ to promote the cause of safer roads for all.
