Detailed explanation-1: -India has announced donation of 12, 500 doses of pentavalent vaccines to Cuba. Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi announced this during her official visit to Cuba from 12th to 14th of January.
Detailed explanation-2: -India introduced Pentavalent vaccine initially in two states viz. Kerala and Tamil Nadu in December 2011. At present, pentavalent vaccine has been expanded to all 36 States/UTs.
