Detailed explanation-1: -The first batch of five Rafale jets arrived in India on July 29, 2020, nearly four years after India signed an inter-governmental agreement with France to procure 36 aircraft at a cost of ₹ 59, 000 crore.

Detailed explanation-2: -The last Rafale jet from France, that was part of the 36-aircraft deal between the two countries, will arrive in India by December 15. By Manjeet Negi: India will receive the last Rafale fighter jet from France by December 15, completing the delivery of all the 36 aircraft as part of the deal between the two countries.
