Detailed explanation-1: -The Government of India has approved the Scheme for the Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration, 2022. The Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration has been designed to acknowledge, recognize and reward exemplary work done by civil servants across the country.

Detailed explanation-2: -The ‘Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration’ has been initiated to acknowledge, recognize and reward the extraordinary and innovative work done by District/organizations of the Central, State Governments. At least five Priority Programmes is chosen for awards under this Scheme.

Detailed explanation-3: -Prize money for PM’s Excellence Awards will be Rs. 20 lakh in 2022.
