Detailed explanation-1: -Above the assignments on the Classwork page on the right hand side is the icon for Google Calendar and the icon for Google Drive. All student work for a particular class is in Google Drive in the class folder. Encourage students to click on the folder icon to see a virtual notebook of all of their documents.
Detailed explanation-2: -File types for submission can be selected by going to the Assignment and select Settings and then Submissions. To allow students to hand in Google Drive files, select ‘Google Doc’ when specifying the allowed submission type.
