Detailed explanation-1: -Non-essential construction and demolition work was covered under the said restrictions. Delhi-NCR’s ban on non-essential construction work has been lifted following an easing-up in air pollution.

Detailed explanation-2: -“Construction activities have been stopped across Delhi in view of pollution. I have directed Labour Minister, Sh Manish Sisodia, to give ₹5000 pm as financial support to each construction worker during this period, when construction activities are not permitted, ” Kejriwal tweeted.

Detailed explanation-3: -Delhi pollution: Ban on non-essential construction work lifted as air quality improves. The ban on non-essential construction work and demolition work which was imposed in Delhi due to poor air quality has now been lifted in the national capital.

Detailed explanation-4: -Delhi has witnessed a 38-day long construction ban period between 13 November and 20 December 2021 last year. An year prior to that a ban on construction activities in city was imposed on November 4, 2019 and finally lifted completely on 14 February 2020.
