Detailed explanation-1: -Reliance Industries has bagged the contract to set up India’s first Multimodal Logistics Park in Chennai.

Detailed explanation-2: -The International Multimodal Logistics Park is being developed under the ambitious Bharatmala Pariyojana of the Government, and is the first such project of its kind. The park is being constructed by NHIDCL in Jogighopa of Assam, and will be connected to road, rail, air, and waterways.

Detailed explanation-3: -MoRTH has identified 35 MMLPs as of July 2021. Bangalore, Chennai, Guwahati, and Nagpur are currently being implemented, while the other cities are in the planning stages, and the DPR has not yet been created.
