Detailed explanation-2: -The Mansabdari system was the administrative system introduced by Akbar in Mughal Empire during 1571. The word ‘Mansab’ is of Arabic origin meaning rank or position. Hence, Mansabdari was a system of ranking the government officials and determined their civil & military duties, along with their renumerations.

Detailed explanation-3: -For the successful functioning of the military, Akbar introduced a new system of administration known as the Mansabdari System. Under this system, each officer or noble was given a Mansab or a Rank and was called a Mansabdar.
