Detailed explanation-1: -Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula, son of Nawab Shujauddaula, was the fourth Nawab of Avadh. He shifted the capital from Faizabad to Lucknow this led to decline of rapidly growing Faizabad but glory to Lucknow. Asaf-ud-Daula was the Nawab wazir of Oudh ratified by Shah Alam II, from 26 January 1775 to 21 September 1797.
