Detailed explanation-1: -Adi Granth, the holy book of Sikhs was compiled by Guru Arjan Dev, the fifth guru of Sikhs in 1604 AD. It is also known as ‘Granth of Granth Sahib’. It is a collection of 6000 hymns of Sikh Guru.

Detailed explanation-2: -The original ‘Adi Granth’, containing verses by the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak, and other Sikh Gurus and saints, was compiled in 1603–4 by the fifth Sikh Guru Arjun.
