Detailed explanation-1: -Notes: The White Mutiny was the unrest that occurred at the dissolution of the “European Forces” of the British East India Company in India during the mid-19th century in the wake of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The white mutiny took place during the reign of Lord Ripon.

Detailed explanation-2: -The Mutiny proper began at Meerut on 10 May 1857. Eighty-five members of the 3rd Bengal Light Cavalry, who had been jailed for refusing to use cartridges they believed to be at odds with their religion, were broken out of prison by their comrades.
