Detailed explanation-1: -Water supply and wells The location of Mohenjo-daro was built in a relatively short period of time, with the water supply system and wells being some of the first planned constructions.

Detailed explanation-2: -All the streets and lanes across neighbourhoods in Mohenjo-daro had drains. In addition there was also provision for managing wastewater inside the houses with vertical pipes in the walls that led to chutes opening on to the street, as well as drains from bathing floors that flowed towards the street drains.

Detailed explanation-3: -The urban areas of the Indus Valley civilization included public and private baths. Many of the buildings at Mohenjo-Daro had two or more stories. They also had a sophisticated drainage system to dispose waste materials out of town.
