Detailed explanation-1: -He was the son of Shakya king Suddhodhana and his wife Maha Maya. After a long meditation under a peepal tree, he attained nirvana. This peepal tree was called Bodhi tree by Buddhist which means “ tree of wisdom” After getting true knowledge Prince Siddhartha was known as Buddha which means “Enlightened One".
