Detailed explanation-1: -Years after he died, students assembled his teachings into a book, the Analects, and a new school of thought developed-Confucianism. This philosophy deeply influenced China throughout most of its history. A series of dynasties, or ruling families, governed China for centuries.

The most famous of these disciples were Mencius and Xunzi, both of whom developed Confucian thought further. Confucianism remains one of the most influential philosophies in China.
